Colour change will vary across colours and batches. Please note we have tried to accurately capture the colours but different lighting, angles and cameras and of course actual UV exposure means this may not be exactly how all boards will look after 2 months and is only suitable for this example. We have a picture graph below to give an example and a general representation of colour changes after 2 months outside exposed to UV light. ![]() Over the coming years once the product has stablised you may see a much slower reduction in colour as it's exposed UV light but is in most cases unnoticeable to the eye. Please do not worry as this is completely normal and will generally start to stabilise after this initial period. E.g in Winter this may happen over 4-5 months in Summer 1-2 months. This process can happen quicker or slower again depending on time of year and the amount of UV exposure the boards get. Over the first couple of months after installation you will notice your decking go through a weathering process, like anything left outside, due to UV exposure and naturally occuring tannins in the wood part of the boards being exposed to UV where the colour will start to become slightly lighter (typically around 10-20% depending on exposure and time of year) including a slight reduction in the wood grain, this will normally be most noticeable during the first 2 months exposure to UV light.
